2017 Preservation Month Event
Hear Ye, Hear Ye!
Historic Tacoma and Landmarks Preservation Commission invites the general public to our 2017 Preservation Month event.
We celebrate this year’s Preservation Month with a Building Re-purposing Theme! Through Tacoma’s history, we see how buildings change with our community – offering innovative and practical uses. Come, learn, and create!
When and Where…
Date: May 5, 2017
Time: 7:00 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Location: Feast Arts Center
1402 S 11th Street
Short talks will be presented by TOP (Tacoma Office of Preservation), Historic Tacoma, and Feast Arts Center representatives.
Historic Tacoma invites all to participate in a lively Architectural Charrette with the Feast Arts Center building as an inspirational model. A Charrette is described as an intense period of design or planning activity. Large prints of the Feast Building will be available for drawing ridiculous to sublime building exterior enhancements.
